Unlisted DreamPenguin began as a painting inspired by a dream:

Somewhere down the block from an old Brooklyn studio, a small encampment of human-sized penguins had quietly taken up residence.

They dressed like vaudeville tramps - bowler hats, oversized ties, the general confidence of performers who had been doing this for a while.

The neighborhood teenagers, unfortunately, noticed.

The penguins responded with surprising ingenuity.

Bottles were thrown.
Balance was maintained.

The penguins handled it.

When the dream ended, one penguin remained - still wearing the bowler, still standing calmly inside a drifting, abstract landscape.
