Each journal begins as a drawing or painting created by hand in our studio - ink, paint, markers, and the occasional questionable idea.

Some works evolve and combine before reaching the object.

This journal is one of a three-part series drawn from an avian collage - detailed line drawings, abstract forms, and even birds built from pins.
